Friday Tidbits

Three days, and we're still going strong. Take that, doubters. Evidently the over/under for this blog has been set at July 31st. Personally, we think that seriously underestimates our ability not to have anything else to do, but we'll let you be the judge of that. Take a look at the poll on the right and let us know.

That being said, we're gonna cut back on posts during the weekends. We realize that most of you read us at your desks just so that you don't have to do actual work. Understand that there are really only so many time-killing techniques we can throw at you guys (although the depths to which we can go to discuss these techniques might just blow your mind). Also, know that weekends are the best chances we have to actually hang out with our employed friends -- the proverbial 90.3%.

Regardless of that, check back tomorrow for a post on tonight's Duke game, win or lose. A win, and I'll be happy. A loss, and I'll probably have to watch the Malcolm X remake starring Wayne Brady just so I can cool off. The way I see it though, that's technically a win-win.

On a separate note, to all of you who say that I don't have life goals and aspirations, I say to you this: I'm actually waking up early tomorrow to drive an hour and a half north to Highland, NY to take a 4-hour class to become a certified barbeque judge. Of course, you guys will get the delicious recap sometime next week. If the class is anything like Jones BBQ and Foot Massage, I think I'm in for a treat.

Finally, this is the last call for submissions for the invention bracket. Daniel and I will make up the bracket in the next day or so and hopefully let you guys start voting on Monday.
